Heat Rating: πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ Flaming

So this is my latest conquest and might I say though I went into this one with some trepidation I was swept away with a great plot, well fleshed-out characters and engaging world building.
From McSteamy alphas to high Drama and Suspense, this one kept me on my toes and delivered until the last of the epilogue.
I was left satisfied but wanting have and since this was my first Aleatha Romig, I can honestly say I have been officially Aleatha’d!

Spoilers ahead

Meet Nox and Charli, the bad boy billionaire and the good girl graduate student. (I know, you want to tell me you have heard this one before – you may even have watched it play out in its multi-shaded trilogy on the big screen – I know, but that’s about where the comparisons end)
Charli is on her one week break with her bff Chelsea when she meets Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Handsome a.k.a. Box and with insta-chemistry on their side, they agree to explore their mutual attraction but with the proverbial catch – it will be for one week only, no last names, no rules and then back to their real lives.
For Nox that life is in New York, for Charli it’s in California by way of Savannah, Georgia but it’s about to lead her soon to New York and not far from Nox’s corporate doorstep.
When the two part ways after their one week, Charli, with Nox still on her mind, heads home to Savannah and we begin to get a glimpse into all the dark secrets that hang behind this good girl’s curtains.
When her darkness chases her to the doors of Infidelity, NY,
Nox steps in and his darkness with a helping of BDSM hasn’t even begun to see the light yet.
The end of Book 1 – Betrayal – is only the beginning of the journey five novel Infidelity series that has roots over twenty years old so that even their secrets have secrets. It is told from a few different points of view so that you see this world of secrets in its entirety.

Danger, tragedy, heartbreak, friendship, trust, family and love – with a HEA – all wrapped up in a five book package.
