Heat Rating: Mild

I think this was my second or third read of this book and it was just as good as the first time. I know! Don’t you just love when you find one of those? Guilty pleasures for repeat offenders.
I can’t say if it was the funny host of characters or their witty repartee or the hilarious naked shower scene that hooked me but I definitely loved the split perspective of this one, totally a his and her story, from prologue to epilogue.
It was cliche, teen rom-com material done really right.
Cute girl genius, Hunky playboy jock and a cast of friends that both represent and yet surprisingly redefine the usual cliques of high school society.

**Warning: Spoilers ahead**

Here’s a taste – Meet “Libby” ladies and gentlemen:

Libby: “So, beefcakes, How’s about you pick up your ball, and let’s get this party started. I happen to be a visual learner, so I am quite excited to have some eye candy to enhance my learning experience for a change.”
Grayson: “You frighten me, Libby. You really do.”
Brandon: “She frightens us all,”

Barriers are straddled and preconceptions shattered as this delightful social experiment in the life of Avery Shaw ensues.
It’s definitely made my list of book gems to treasure.

**End of Spoilers**

If you are YA romance fan and like quirky, you will love this.
And there are additional novels in the universe. Libby’s story is my next stop – “The Libby Garrett Intervention” – I’ll let you know how it goes!
